Sanguen Health Van
Adrienne Farrell, the dedicated Chairperson of our Traverse Board. Adrienne has been a steadfast member of the board for several years, and her commitment to our clients has reached new heights through her volunteer work with the Sanguen Health Van.
The Van is a vital service operating in Kitchener and Cambridge, making various stops throughout these cities. Staffed by an interdisciplinary team, the van provides essential primary care services through nursing, peer support, and social support. It also offers consumption treatment services, including the distribution of new drug gear, needle exchange, condoms, and naloxone, along with training on its use. Additionally, the van supplies food, clothing, hygiene items, and other necessities of life.
For individuals who are living rough, homeless, or precariously housed, the Sanguen Health Van is a lifeline. Adrienne's involvement with this initiative exemplifies her unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those in our community. Her efforts ensure that the van continues to be a beacon of hope, providing critical support and care to those who need it most.
Join us in celebrating Adrienne Farrell and her incredible contributions to our community. Her passion and commitment inspire us all to make a difference.
