Physical Disability Services
Traverse Independence offers personal support services and supportive housing for adults with physical disabilities. Since 1975, one of our primary goals has been to develop housing and support services for adults with physical disabilities, assisting them in their activities of daily living and empowering and connecting them on their journey to independence.
Our long-standing supportive housing program is one of the first in Ontario. Two supportive housing locations encourage clients to develop skills required in their daily lives. Services focus on supporting clients to make positive choices and to live independently.
Traverse Independence has a strong focus on best practice and quality service delivery. We collaborate with the Ontario Association of Independent Living Service Providers (OAILSP) to ensure the highest quality service is accessible to all of our clients. We continually develop innovative service models that address the complex needs of our clients.
